And so it begins ...

“Awaken, traveler. The chains that bound you are broken, though not by chance.

Every soul that walks these lands begins in darkness, and only through struggle do they step into the light.”

Your journey begins in captivity. Escape is your first trial — a test of wit and courage that all must face. When you emerge beyond the prison walls, the world awaits.

The first trial

The Boatman will carry you across the waves, setting you ashore at a place unknown. No two travelers begin alike — your path will start where the sea delivers you. (See The Boatman for details.)

Provisions for the journey
