The Boatsman

Speak to the Boatsman. He will teleport you to a random location in the world and set your **home/respawn point**. Your first goal is to reach **Level 15**.

It is recommended to:

  • Set up a base.
  • Join or found a Kingdom.
  • Acquire starter gear.

Use the Livemap to locate a suitable base location. Keep your distance from other kingdoms—their guards will attack intruders.

Remember to set your home at your base with /sethome. You may use a **Recall Scroll** to return to the Imperial City. Use /kit almsivi once per day to receive a new recall scroll.

Hint: You can teleport to your kingdom directly with /k home.

First Mount

Upon reaching Level 15, you unlock your first mount: the Sorrel Horse.

Travel to the **Foaming Flask Inn** in the Talos Plaza district of the Imperial City. Speak to **Ernest Manis**, the barkeep. He will hint at a painting to your right. Enter the secret door and proceed to the cellar.

The Gentleman

In the cellar, you will meet **Aurelius Blackthorn**. Then speak to **Valerius Cassian** to choose a Race.

Hint: If you do not wish to choose a race yet, press Escape to close the menu. This will default your race to Race#Imperial, and you will receive a **Race Respecification Scroll** to change later.

Forward Base

Report to **Octarian** at the Imperial City Waterfront. From here, set sail to the **Forward Base**. Speak to **Corrundus Caro** and assist him in the base operations.

Hint: If you complete all three Daily Quests at the same time, once per week Corrundus Caro will reward you with a **random Imperial motif**.
