When adventurers set down their blades and spells for the night, there’s only one place they long to be — a tavern.
For this community build event, players were challenged to recreate the warmth, charm, and mystery of Elder Scrolls-style inns within Minecraft.
From roaring hearths to weathered mead barrels, every detail echoes rugged hospitality — a true celebration of world-building, craftsmanship, and creative storytelling.
Below you’ll find each player’s unique contribution to the Tavern Build Event — each inn brimming with its own character and lore.
Iron Manor

Built from dark oak and gleaming white stone, Iron Manor rises from the hills like a noble relic of forgotten ages. Its walls gleam in the moonlight, polished and pristine, yet the heavy timbers and wrought-iron beams speak of endurance and quiet strength. Inside, the air hums softly — in the grand central hall stands a lone piano, its polished keys reflecting candlelight. Whispers persist — that beneath the manor’s radiant walls, a shadow stirs, and the melody of the piano hides a secret best left unplayed.

Mountain Inn

The Mountain Inn lies hidden within the heart of a sun-scorched cliff, its entrance barely visible amid the jagged stone. Inside, cool air drifts through chambers carved from ancient dripstone, where lanterns cast wavering light across rough-hewn walls.

Squeaky Frog Inn

The Squeaky Frog Inn is a cozy, nature-filled tavern nestled deep in the swamp — a hidden gem straight out of a Skyrim-inspired Minecraft build. Its mossy walls and twisting vines blend seamlessly with the wetlands around it, as if the inn itself had grown from the earth. Inside, the air is warm and fragrant with damp wood and blooming lilies, while frogs croak softly from the massive terrarium.

Tavern of the Drunken Mole

The Dunken Mole Tavern is a small, cozy oak-built tavern that welcomes weary wanderers with the scent of roasted meat and freshly poured ale. Its sturdy oak beams and dim lanterns give it a warm, rustic glow — the perfect stop for adventurers returning from the wilds.
Inside, chatter and laughter fill the air as mugs clink and stories grow taller by the fire. Though humble in size, the Dunken Mole is rich in charm — a true Skyrim-style Minecraft tavern where comfort, ale, and friendship come easy.

Silent Moons Inn

The Silent Moons Inn stands grand beneath the mountain sky — a spacious Skyrim-inspired inn built from timber and stone, with stables, a well, and a welcoming great hall that invites travelers in from the road. But beyond its warmth and hospitality lies a whisper — a hidden secret deep below. Those who linger too long near the cellar door claim to hear faint echoes and feel a chill not born of the northern winds.
So come in, adventurer — rest, drink, and explore. There’s more to see than pictures can show, and perhaps, if you’re daring enough, you’ll find the hidden door.
