Meet Borin8, one of the most influential players on our Elder Scrolls-inspired Minecraft server. As the first player to embrace vampirism, and the founder of Chitokage, an Akaviri-inspired kingdom, he’s left a lasting mark on both lore and landscape.
Borin8 is known for his masterful Akaviri-Japanese style builds, brewing expertise, and his sharp in-game strategy. He currently holds the highest score in build events at 93.5 points, on track to be the first player ever to reach 100 points.
He’s also an innovative alchemist, having discovered unique brewing recipes such as Ale and Sujamma. His discovery of the secret Moonlight Embrace potion gave him a temporary monopoly — a testament to both his ambition and cunning.

The Chitokage Shogunate draws inspiration from Elder Scrolls’ Akaviri culture, reimagined in Minecraft with East Asian architectural elements — curved rooftops, red torii gates, lantern-lit courtyards, and serene mountain temples.

What inspired you to found Chitokage and embrace the Akaviri aesthetic?
I wanted a new building challenge, and since I never build anything in the asian style, I wanted to go with that, lucky for me, Akaviri got that similar style so I went for that.
What advice would you give to new players who want to start their own kingdoms?
Don’t waste your diamonds for quick upgrades, do your quests, fight in the arena, you’ll get plenty of septims to improve your kingdom.
What’s your favorite part of building in an Elder Scrolls-inspired Minecraft world?
Creating a story that fits into the world; Most of my build contest submissions are connected to the same lore I created in my smoll brain.
You currently lead in build points — what project are you most proud of?
The most obvious of all, Silent Moon Inn, I’m really happy how it turned out, and I still have so many ideas on how I Could expand it.
