In Ender Scrolls every player may choose a class, each class has their own effects. All weapons, armor and potions are available to every player, no matter your chosen race. Races can be changed at the Arcane University, speak to Virentus Direnni.

You may choose your race once you reach level 15 and advance the main quest.

Altmer, the High Elves see themselves as the ruling race of Tamriel, they are a highly cultured people.
+6 maximum Stamina. When you attack restore 2 Stamina, every 6s.

Argonian, Saxhleel or people of the root, other races often refer to them as lizards or Lizard Folk.
Waterbreathing.

Bosmer, the Wood Elves are mischievous, curious and nimble. They are dangerous foes and gifted hunters.
Immunity to Poison. -5% fall damage.

Bretons are a race of mixed human and elven ancestry that hail from High Rock..
+6 maximum Stamina. +0.3 Stamina recovery.

Dunmer the Dark Elves are the ash-skinned, red-eyed elven people of Morrowind.
Fire Resistance.

Imperial Also known as Cyrodils, Imperials are the natives of the civilized province of Cyrodiil.
When you are attacked, restore 6 Health, every 12s.

Khajiit The proud feline Khajiit are fearsome on the field of battle.
Nightvision, improved sneak speed.

The Nord are quick to anger, boisterous and strong. They are natural born warriors.
Frost Immunity, when you are attacked, restore 0.5 Ultimate, every 10s.

Orc Though other races often regard the Orsimer as barbarians and beasts, these noble warriors have an ancient culture forged from endless warfare.
+12 Stamina.

Redguard The dark-skinned, coarse haired people seem born to battle.
+0.3 Stamina recovery. When you attack, restore 2 Stamina, every 6s.
